Here's what's happening at the NorthPole right now...

December 19th, 2009

Ho Ho HO, Time fly’s when you are busy.  I have been to Nanaimo BC Canada visiting good boys and girls.  I was at Georgia Avenue School for Breakfast, A fundraiser for the Child Development Center in Nanaimo, a couple house parties and a party in Delta BC.  This and traveling back and forth to the North Pole has been crazy.

There is only 5 days until the big Night…………..the elves are working their finger to the bones trying to be ready for Christmas.  At the end of this we will have a well deserved holiday.

That is it for now, Remember Boys and Girls you must be on your best behaviour.

Walmart Early Christmas

Every year Walmart sets up for Christmas a littler earlier than the year before. We here at Santa’s Workshop in the NorthPole co-ordinate with retailers from all over the world in order to run a successful holiday season. Officially, the holiday season start is November 1st. But every year now it has crept up sooner and sooner. Now, we peg the official start to Christmas at September 24th.

However, competition is competition. We do love Walmart for their unflagging support for Santa. We just wish they - and everyone else - would hold off on the Christmas run until October.

As for Santa and everyone up here at the workshop, we’re busy, busy, busy and looking forward to another wonderful holiday season.

A BIG Thank You from SANTA

January 16th, 2009

As you may or may-not know, after the Christmas Eve deliveries the Mrs., myself and all of the elves can not just take off for Vacations.  We have some cleaning up to do at the workshop and around the North Pole. We have to ensure all the maintenance and testing is complete on all the machinery prior to the beginning of October 2009, as this is when we go into full production mode.

There is a small crew that will be staying at the North Pole, making toys, coming up with new ideas and standing security watches.

Everything is in place and the majority of the elves are currently on their vacations Mrs. Claus and I arrived a couple of days ago at the first destination of our Vacation.

As this winter has been exceptionally cold and I still have a chill from the Polar Bear swim in Nanaimo we have decided to go to some Tropical Destinations for our Vacation.  We will post Pictures and keep you updated on our destinations.

I would like to take this time to Thank Mrs. Claus, all of the elves, the Reindeer for all there hard work and dedication for making Christmas 2008 one of our best.  I would also like to thank all of the Boys and Girls, their parents and teachers for being exeptionally good in 2008 and believing in me.  I made quite a few special visits prior to Christmas and hope to make more next year.

Have a wonderfull year.
