Thank you Olive for your information, it appears that this could definitely be the work of the Awgwa.
For those of you out there who are not familiar with the Awgwa, I will give you a brief description. They are one of the foulest creatures around, they can take on almost any form they wish, however the worst fact is that they can infect the minds of most beings. That being said they can only infect the minds of those who are fearful, angry, or hostile, they feed on these emotions and gain strength from them. They have a hard time sticking around very long here at the North Pole, because this place is filled with happiness and laughter, this would be the reason Olive saw one appear as a dark mist, this is their weakest state and they dare not linger around much longer or they will surely perish.
If you notice anyone acting out of the ordinary…grumpy, grouchy or even mean, the best way to help them is to be cheerful, helpful, kind, tell them a joke, make them smile and if possible make them laugh and laugh along with them, these actions will chase away any Awgwa around.
I have also been informed the Awgwa can be found around small towns and large cities all over the world, where there is sadness and anger the Awgwa are sure to be around. King Awgwa is the leader among them, he is the strongest. He has been trying for a very long time to convince children and adults that I, Santa and all of you who make Christmas great do not exist. It hurts me to say that he has succeeded with some, but there still are those who believe and we must convince more. We can not allow King Awgwa to infect all those great Children and adults.
So keep being cheerful, if you have a bad day, think of the things in your life that make you happy, tell a joke, be kind and help one another.
